Safer Schools
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of Bridgewater students is my top priority. Since Columbine, at least 378,000 students have experienced gun violence in their schools. 1 That is why I support investing in robust security measures to protect our youth from physical danger.
Additionally, school safety isn’t just about stopping external threats. The mental health crisis is of growing concern, with 22% of high school students having seriously considered suicide and 42% feeling persistently sad or lonely in the past year. 2 While these statistics alarm me, they highlight the critical need for comprehensive support systems within Bridgewater schools. The district must prioritize mental health resources, access to counseling, and supportive learning environments for all students.
Smarter Spending
First of all, we must fully fund our students for the highest quality education we can afford. However, a $183 million budget requires wise spending and high scrutiny. 3 I will always advocate for the smartest financial decisions, and clear, transparent budget reporting for the wider community. After all, 68% of your local taxes contribute to the budget, and you deserve to know that your money is being responsibly allocated. 4 We must maximize resources for student benefit while ensuring nothing goes to waste.
Opportunity in Education
My parents chose Bridgewater for its academic excellence, and I am beyond grateful for my experiences in our schools. I’m committed to preserving and expanding upon educational opportunities for students, as well as ensuring that Bridgewater remains a beacon of excellence. I will push the district to integrate more opportunities for college readiness, professional development, and civic engagement into our youth’s curriculum, while further supporting academics, sports, and the arts. We must continue to build on our community’s impressive educational and extracurricular opportunities and ensure that all students have an equal opportunity for future success.
Trust & Transparency
Trust and transparency are the bedrock of a strong community. I will push the district to foster open and effective communication with parents and community stakeholders, while holding the district accountable for its actions. The district must ensure transparency in decision-making processes, fund allocation, and school policies. I will always support greater communication and understanding between the district and the community it serves.

Proud Bridgewater Graduate
Unlike any other candidate for Board of Education this year, I am proud to say that I have lived in Bridgewater and attended its public schools for all my life. From my early days at Crim in AM kindergarten, to graduating from BRHS, Bridgewater has always been my home. I’m deeply invested in this community and I hope to raise a family of my own here.

I believe there is no cost too great for student safety, but seeing $40,000 wasted on faulty locks deeply concerned me during my junior year. Such mismanagement and its impact on students’ daily lives drove me to follow the school district and local government more closely.

Although it might seem to be a small issue, it’s what sparked my interest in youth advocacy. Recognizing a broader need for increased civic engagement among young people, I took the lead in organizing a team to lobby the state government. Our efforts culminated in the introduction and passage of the ‘Involve Our Youth Act,’ which has since created new opportunities for students across New Jersey to participate in their communities. Navigating education committees and the wider state legislature gave me valuable insight to working with people of different opinions and finding compromise. My efforts during this process were recognized by state lawmakers, leading to my selection to serve on the NJ Legislative Youth Council. I continue to advocate for policies that benefit young people and their communities.

Wanting to contribute more to my hometown, I was honored to be appointed to the Township Planning Board. Here, I help oversee land development matters to preserve our wonderful communities. Today I am a proud honors student in the accelerated law program at Seton Hall.

My parents chose Bridgewater as their home, and it’s here that I plan to stay. Nowhere else offers such great opportunities for success, and I’m committed to ensuring that future generations of students have the same opportunities that I was blessed with. Board of Education is a youth-centered institution, and it deserves a young and energetic voice with firsthand experience in its schools.
